WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TWELVE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, June 24, 2016:
- Police brought an unattended bicycle near Town Hall back to the station. (1:04am)
- Police sent two men sitting in chairs outside of Market Basket on their way. (5:22am)
- A gray 2008 Toyota Tacoma and a black 2012 Volkswagen Jetta were involved in a crash at Main Street and Clark Street. No injuries reported. (1:25pm)
- Angel Malave (50, Lawrence) was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and on other warrants. His BMW was pulled over on Route 62. (2:18pm)
- Leo Kelley (26, Lexington) was arrested on warrants for operating a motor vehicle without a license and having an unregistered motor vehicle. Her Kia Optima was pulled over on Lowell Street. (2:36pm)
- A white 1996 Toyota Camry struck a fence on Lake Street. (3:52pm)
- Police notified Mass Highway Department over a loose manhole in front of Wilmington House of Pizza. (4:18pm)
- A Dunkin Donuts employee reported a group of juveniles were causing a disturbance and refusing to leave. Police spoke with the group. (5:10pm)
- A Shawsheen Avenue resident reported driver of a red jeep threw an empty Vodka bottle on his front lawn and continued on towards the Shawsheen School. Police were unable to locate. (6:42pm)
- During a routine check of the Wildwood Cemetery, police found a woman with a green 2010 Kia Soul parked by the dumpster, near the garage, going through the trash for flowers. She was advised. (7:46pm)
- A juvenile was reported missing from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. (11:06pm)
- A caller reported smelling marijuana from a loud party on Glendale Circle. Police responded, but found the situation clear. (11:46pm)

Please do not throw glass out car windows. My poor dog stepped on a piece of broken glass and needed stitches and a brace for her paw until healed. Innocent wreckage from careless littering.
