BEVERLY, MA — Matthew Palermo, a 2012 graduate of Wilmington High and a 2016 graduate of Endicott College, was recently commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army. During his four years at Endicott, Palermo trained as a member of the National Guard Reserves.

Palermo was also recently awarded the Frances Gnecco Callahan Scholarship at Endicott College. Established by Frances Genneco Callahan, wife of Endicott Trustee and Chair Emeritus A. Joseph Callahan Jr., the scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving student who exemplifies a strong commitment to helping others.
