WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, June 19, 2016:
- A caller reported a group of juveniles were walking in the middle of the road on Lowell Street. Group was gone by the time police arrived. (12:29am)
- A brown 2015 Jeep Renegade and a brown 2004 Hyundai Elantra were involved in a minor crash at Dunkin Donuts on Main Street. (8:54am)
- Police noticed a vehicle parked up on the grass near the entrance to the train to the Town Park. Police asked trail walker to move the vehicle. (9:47am)
- A Border Avenue caller reported two quads were riding up and down the street. Police were unable to locate the quads. (1:23pm)
- A red 2011 Avalon Toyota and a black 2004 BMW were involved in a crash at Grace Chapel on West Street. Unspecified injuries. Airbags deployed. Both vehicles towed. One driver received a citation for failure to stop at a stop sign. (2:10pm)
- An Aldrich Road resident reported at approximately 10pm last night, an unknown man knocked on his basement door in the rear of his house. The man was approximately 6 ft. tall, white, short facial hart, in his 20’s. When asked what he wanted, he stated “I must have the wrong house” and left. Caller wanted the incident logged. (4:23pm)
- A resident reported a dirt bike was speeding around Nichols Street. Police responded, but dirt bike was already gone. (7:28pm)
