WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Middle School 7th Grader Neal Ferrera recently participated in the Buzz Off For Kids With Cancer event on Sunday, June 5 at Gillette Stadium.
Neal, son of Robert and Elaine Ferrera of Wilmington, raised more than $300 for One Mission, a Massachusetts-based pediatric cancer foundation. Neal got his head shaved alongside several professional athletes and politicians.
Neal’s family is proud of him for his kindness and generosity. The family is also proud of Neal for recently being named a Student of the Month at Wilmington Middle School. Scott Ferrera, Neal’s older brother, is also excelling inside the classroom at the Shawsheen Tech, where he is an Honor Roll student.
