WILMINGTON, MA — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, June 12, 2016:
- Police responded after a woman attempted to make several purchases with fake twenty dollar bills at Cumberland Farm on Main Street. (2:56am)
- Police responded to report of two cats in a 1956 Volwkswaggen with Califonria plates in the McDonald’s parking lot. Cats did not appear to be in distress as windows were cracked. Police left note for vehicle’s owner to contact the station. (11:17am)
- Police received a 911 call from the callbox by the WHS Football Field entrance. Police responded and found the phone unattended. Police determined a child may have been playing with the phone. (2:02pm)
- Police received multiple calls regarding a loose sign on the overhead lights in front of the Wilmington Crossing plaza. Mass Highway was unable to send someone out to fix until tomorrow. (2:49pm)
- A Butters Row caller reported a red motorcycle has been racing up and down the street, last seen heading towards Chestnut Street. Police were unable to locate. (4:56pm)
- Police assisted the Fire Department with a mulch fire at Burger King on Lowell Street. (6:47pm)
- A mini bulldog — white with brown patches on his eyes — was reported lost from Nichols Street. Owner eventually located the dog. (9:19pm)
- 3 juveniles reported missing from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. Juveniles left on foot without program’s permission. (11:44pm)
