WILMINGTON, MA — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, June 10, 2016:
- Caller reported a dead cat was on the side of the road on Marion Street. Animal Control Officer retrieved. (7:42am)
- A brown 2006 Hyundai Sonata and a gray 2016 Subaru Legacy were involved in a crash in front of the library on Middlesex Avenue. No injuries reported. One vehicle towed. (10:25am)
- Police notified RMLD and Verizon of low hanging wires in the road on Woburn Street after a tractor trailer reportedly struck a pole. (12:04pm)
- Benevento’s received a citation for spilling cement on the roadway at Route 125, near the 93 North onramp. (2:55pm)
- Police received report of two dogs left in a vehicle for over 40 minutes in the Planet Fitness parking lot. Police responded, but vehicle was gone upon arrival. (3:11pm)
- A caller reported while her 10 year-old son was walking home from the West, a car full of teenagers threw eggs and him and his friend. Car was described as a black sedan. Police notified school resource officer. (3:36pm)
- Police assisted the Fire Department with a mulch fire in front of TJ Maxx. (5:46pm)
- A black 2011 Landranger struck a pole on Glen Road. The driver was cited for texting while driving. (6:18pm)
- Police received report of flowers stolen from a grave site at Wildwood Cemetery sometime since Tuesday. (6:48pm)
