POLICE LOG for June 7: Busy Day For Ridic; Package Stolen; Dump Truck Troubles

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, June 7, 2016:

  • Police gave a verbal warning for excessive noise to a driver playing loud music in the WHS student parking lot. (7:04am)
  • K9 Ridic involved in a demonstration at Public Safety Day at Wildwood School. (8:51am)
  • A Horseshoe Lane resident reported a UPS package was taken from in front of their apartment door. (2:08pm)
  • K9 Ridic underwent training at the Shriners Auditorium on Fordham Road. (2:21pm)
  • A dump truck broke down at Burlington Avenue and Chestnut Street. Vehicle was pulled into Deming Way and out of the way of traffic. (2:41pm)
  • Police advised individuals of town’s smoking and dog regulations at Town Beach. (5:12pm)
  • Police received notification of a Sirius XM emergency button activation in a gray 2016 Lexus on Marcia Road. All clear. Vehicle was having electrical issues. (5:56pm)
  • A gray 2005 Mazda SE and a orange 2015 Ford Fusion were involved in a minor crash on Wisser Street. No injuries reported. Both vehicles towed. (9:20pm)
