5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (June 14, 2016)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Tuesday, June 14, 2016.

#1) The Wilmington Minutemen are holding their annual Flag Retirement Ceremony at 7pm at  Minutemen Headquarters behind the Harnden Tavern (430 Salem Street).  The flags will be respectfully retired through burning. The public is invited to attend. The Minutemen have a collection box for worn flags at the Town Hall and Post Office year-round.

#2)  The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is hosting its normal Tuesday activities —  Walking Group (9am); Aerobics (10:30am); and Wii Bowling (12:30pm). Learn more HERE.

#3) The Wilmington Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is open from 10am to 2pm. Explore Wilmington’s history! Learn more HERE.

#4) The Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks (777 South Street, Tewksbury) holds bingo — open to the public — every Tuesday at 6:45pm. Doors open at 5pm. Pizza, hot dog and pastries are sold. Free coffee.

#5) Red Heat Tavern is holding its weekly bar trivia (pub quiz) with Geeks Who Drink from 7pm to 9pm. Learn more HERE.

PLUS: Angels In Motion meets every Tuesday, from 9:30am to 2:30pm, at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall (112 Middlesex Avenue).  The club provides a great opportunity for seniors to meet new friends or reacquaint with old ones.  Spend the day playing cards, board games, or just chatting with folks!  A luncheon is served as noon.  There are NO fees. The KofC Hall is handicap accessible.
