POLICE LOG for June 6: Billerica Man Arrested; Squirrel Stuck In Bird Feeder

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, June 6, 2016:

  • A Middlesex Avenue caller reported that around 7:15am every school day, a car pulls into the student lot and plays loud music. Police advised the caller to call back next time it occurs. (8:13am)
  • Shane A. Dumas (38, Billerica) was arrested on warrants, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and speeding. Dumas was pulled over on Boutwell Street. (9:06am)
  • Police stood by while DPW painted a cross walk at Lowell Street and Parker Street. (9:55am)
  • Milestone Group Home on High Street reported a missing juvenile. (11:29am)
  • Lake Street resident reported a squirrel was stuck in a bird feeder. Police was able to extricate the animal. (11:39am)
  • K9 Ridic underwent training at St. Dorothy’s Church. (1:13pm)
  • A caller reported a juvenile was operating a dirt bike in the roadway on Shady Lane. Police located and advised the juvenile. (7:24pm)
  • The new traffic lights at the Glen Road and Middlesex Avenue intersection was malfunctioning. DPW notified contractors, who are still in control of the lights. (10:02pm)
  • Police investigated a blue 2008 Chevy Malibu in the high school parking lot. Police told the operator to remove the flashing blue lights from his vehicle. (10:11pm)
