WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Sunday, June 5, 2016.
#1) Wilmington High School’s Class of 2016 graduates at 2pm in the WHS Gym. Wilmington Community Television will be telecasting the ceremony live on WCTV-E (99 on Comcast, 39 on Verizon) and streaming it live online HERE.
#2) Today is the FINAL DAY to support Wilmington’s iPods for Wounded Veterans with an online purchase through Barnes and Nobles’s website. Learn more HERE.
#3) The Boston Bruins Foundation’s 1st Annual “Bowl With A Bruin” take place at 4pm at Wamesit Lanes (434 Main Street) in Tewksbury. Wilmington’s interlinkONE is one of the event’s major corporate sponsors. Spectator tickets cost $50. Learn more HERE.
#4) The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm. Learn about the canal’s history and its impact on the area, including Wilmington.
#5) ICYMI: The Wilmington Educational Foundation’s “TOP CAT” award program — where parents can submit a small donation to WEF in exchange for certificates for their child’s teachers and other school personnel — is active. Submissions are due by Friday, June 10. Learn more HERE.
