WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Memorial Library recently released its summer events brochure for kids and teens.
Highlights include:
- “On Your Mark, Get Set… Read” Children Summer Reading Program, including events, prizes, drop-in crafts, stamps and guessing contests
- “Get In The Game” Teen Summer Reading Program with a bookopoly board to track reading and win prizes
- Mike Bent’s “Let’s Get Moving” Magic Show to kick off the Summer Reading Program on Saturday, June 18, 11am
- End of the Summer Bash on the Swain Green on Thursday, August 11, 5pm to 7:30pm, featuring food trucks, an ice cream truck, music, games, entertainment and more
- Family programs, including: Touch-A-Truck, an Animal Show, a Science Show, a Puppet Show, and more
- Storytimes — including BabyTimes, Time for Twos, Preschool Storytime, and PJ Storytime
- Events for Students in Grade 1 to Grade 3, including Read to Zoey, Travel Club, Minecraft Mondays, Books and S’mores, and more
- Events for Students in Grade 4 to Grade 8, including Maker Mondays, Crafternoons, and Spa Days, plus a Super Smash Brothers Tournament, Chocolate Olympics, Humans vs. Zombies, All You Can Eat Buffett, and more
- Events for Students in Grades 6 to 12, including SuperFlight!, Henna Body Art, Zumba, and High School Summer Reading Discussions.
