WILMINGTON, MA — The WHS Varsity Softball Team (13-7) defeated Arlington by a 5-0 score at Wilmington Town Park on Sunday in the team’s regular season finale.
On the mound, starting pitcher Ally Moran pitched a complete game, giving up just 2 hits and no runs.
At the plate, Adele Burton executed a successful squeeze play that scored Dana Goulet.
In the field, left fielder Marisa Butler had a standout game with five putouts, including a catch that robbed a player of extra bases to end the fifth inning.
