WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Sunday, May 29, 2016.
#1) Wilmington’s Memorial Day Weekend ceremonies continue with a Veterans Mass at the Wilmington United Methodist Church at 11am, followed by the rededication of the veterans parks, squares and monuments around town, beginning with the Police Station Monument at 1pm.
#2) WHS Baseball battles Chelmsford at 3pm at Wilmington High in the finals of the Dick Scanlon Memorial Tournament. (Austin Prep and Winchester face off in the consolation game at noon.) WHS Softball hosts Arlington at noon at Wilmington Town Park.
#3) The Barnes & Noble Bookstore in Burlington (98 Middlesex Turnpike) is donating a percentage of all in-store sales over Memorial Day Weekend — Saturday, May 28 thru Monday, May 30 — to the Wilmington-based iPods for Wounded Veterans. No flyer is required with the purchase. Learn more HERE.
