POLICE LOG for May 21: Yard Sale Dispute, Woman Asking For Money At Plaza

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, May 21, 2016:

  • Police received two calls that someone was throwing bottles at Town Beach. Police responded and were unable to locate the individual or any bottles. (12:43am)
  • A juvenile was reported missing from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. (1:04am)
  • A Taft Road caller reported his television was stolen sometime overnight. Caller later realized his granddaughter had simply moved the TV upstairs. (6:26am)
  • Animal Control Officer and DPW rescued ducklings from a sewer drain on Main Street. (1:28pm)
  • Police received report of a woman in the parking lot at Savers going car to car, asking for money. Police responded, but were unable to locate the woman. (2:31pm)
  • A Moore Street resident reported 2 individuals were yelling at her door after an argument at a yard sale. Police restored the peace. Argument was over a jewelry box and a $17 discrepancy. Neither parties wanted to pursue charges or have any further police involvement. (4:04pm)
