Device Demo: Amazon Echo *RR
Wednesday, June 1, 7 pm
Amazon’s voice activated assistant “answers questions, reads audiobooks and the news, reports traffic and weather, gives info on local businesses, provides sports scores and schedules, and more using the Alexa Voice Service.” Come see it in action.
Writing Group *RR
Saturday, June 4, 9:15 am-11:15 am,
If you love to write and seek input and accountability, then join our writing group. Please bring up to five pages of written work to the meeting. Open to all genres and levels. Led by local writing enthusiast, Barbara Alevras.
Encryption in the 21st Century *RR
Wednesday, June 8, 7 pm
The recent clash between Apple and the FBI over encryption provides an excellent opportunity to discuss encryption and decide how much we value our personal privacy versus the needs of law enforcement. Presented by Keith West, who moderates foreign and domestic policy discussion series at a number of public libraries and has taught debate for over a decade.
Author Talk: Ted Reinstein *RR
Thursday, June 9, 7 pm
Ted Reinstein, a reporter for “Chronicle” and author, brings to life many of the famous fights, spats, and arguments that have, in many ways, shaped New England itself in his new book Wicked Pissed: New England’s Most Famous Feuds. From sports to politics, food to finance, aviation to engineering, to bitter disputes over simple boundaries themselves, New England’s feuds have peppered the region’s life for centuries.

Drop-In Storytime

Drop in for stories, songs, rhymes and a fun craft! Space is limited, tickets will be distributed on first-come, first served basis. Ages: 2-5 and one or more adults.

Baby Times

Infants through 24 months
This program of songs, rhymes, games and picture books is for babies under the age of two years and their caregivers.
Dads and Donuts
Saturday, June 11, 10:30 am
Dads and their kids ages 2 and up are invited to drop in for stories, songs, rhymes and more. Moms, grandparents and other caregivers are welcome, too! Ages: 2-5 and one or more adults.

Memorial Day Weekend Schedule
The library will be closed the Memorial Day weekend Saturday May 28 through Monday May 30. Our virtual library at www.wilmlibrary.org is open 24/7. You can read magazines, e-books, the New York Times digital edition and more via the library’s website!
Town Wide Yard Sale
Saturday, June 11 from 8 am – 2 pm
Deadline for yard sale applications is Saturday, June 4. Your $15 fee provides one large yard sale sign and two directional signs plus lots of advertising. Yard sale maps will be available June 8 at the library, Town Hall, Elia’s Country Store, Eastgate Liquors, and the Market Basket courtesy counter. The yard sale map will also be available on the library’s website http://www.wilmlibrary.org. Join in the community wide event!
