POLICE LOG for May 20: How’d You React To A Tractor Trailer Idling Outside Your Window At 2AM?

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, May 20, 2016:

  • A Nottingham Drive caller reported a vehicle drove into the cul de sac and threw something a neighbor’s house. Caller was unsure what was thrown. Police checked area. No item was found and no damage was visible. (1:33am)
  • A First Avenue caller reported a tractor trailer was idling in a parking lot on Waltham Street, near her bay window. Police responded and spoke with driver, who shut the vehicle down for the night. (2:14am)
  • A juvenile was reported missing from Milestone Group Home on High Street. (2:48am)
  • Police received a report of a man disheveled stumbling down Lowell Street. Police located man and gave him a ride to his mother’s house. (8:55am)
  • A caller reported his blue 2006 Toyota Sienna was broken into while on Main Street. Registration was taken from vehicle. (1:16pm)
  • A blue 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle and a white Lexus were involved in a crash on Shawsheen Avenue. No injuries reported. (2:20pm)
  • A walk-in party reported he lost his wallet, possibly at Rotary Park. (3:00pm)
  • A caller reported a sewer cover was missing at Shawsheen Avenue and Nassau Avenue. Police notified DPW. (7:51pm)
