WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington High School’s World Language Department announced this week that six WHS students have earned high honors on this year’s National Latin Exam.
Congratulations to the following Wilmington students:
Maxima Cum Laude (Silver Medals)
- Quintin Soye
- Krista Brown
- Antonia Kieran
Magna Cum Laude
- Nathaniel DiMecco
- William Ammon
- Charlotte Sulick
The school’s 2015-2016 Latin 1 Honor students were the first students in the program’s history to take the exam.
The students were joined by over 154,000 others from all 50 states and 19 foreign countries, including Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
The exam is 40 questions and awards are based on the number of correct answers.
