WILMINGTON, MA — Joseph Michael Brennan, age 85, of Ayer, formerly of Wilmington and Billerica, passed away on May 22, 2016.
Joe was born on September 9, 1930; he was the cherished son of the late Francis and Cecelia (King) Brennan. Joe is the beloved husband of Andrea, devoted father of Donna Richard & her husband, Noah, Linda Hopkins & her husband, Mike, Karen Howard & her husband, Joe, Colleen Shea & her husband, Dan, Joseph Brennan, Jr. and Kevin Brennan; loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, dear brother of Judy Thunander of TN, Kathy Naughton of FL, and John Brennan of Billerica. Joe is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Joe was a U.S. Army Veteran who proudly served during the Korean War. He was also a member of the VFW Soloman Post 8819 and the Billerica DAV Chapter 47.
At Joe’s request, Funeral Services will be private. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of Nichols Funeral Home.
