WILMINGTON, MA — Supercuts in Wilmington (337 Main Street) is participating in a two-month effort to raise money for several organizations through the end of June.
Guests and stylists are encouraged to donate $1 to help fund and raise awareness for different groups.
The ONE Campaign, put together by parent company MjjM Salons, will help the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, Boston Children’s Hospital, MSPCA-Angell and the Melanoma Foundation of New England. Team members of Supercuts nominated these organizations to receive the proceeds from the campaign.
Participating salons are also holding raffles, contests and handing out posters to raise awareness about the organizations. Donation boxes are located in participating Supercuts salons.
The campaign is in its fourth year. Since 2013, over $63,000 has been raised for numerous charities and nonprofit organizations throughout New England.
