POLICE LOG for May 14: Intoxicated Man Gets Off At Wrong Train Stop; Missing Teen Located

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, May 14, 2016:

  • Police observed an individual who appeared intoxicated near Elia’s Country Store on Middlesex Avenue. Individual got off at the wrong train stop. Police transported the individual to the police station to wait for a ride. (12:54am)
  • Police confiscated a small amount of Class D from a gray 2011 Toyota Corolla near Charlie’s Autobody on Main Street and returned it to the station for destruction. (1:48am)
  • Fire Department handled a car fire on Bates Avenue. (12:33pm)
  • A caller reported two motorcycle were doing donuts in the tennis courts and skatepark at the Shawsheen School.  Motorcycles were gone by the time police arrived. (4:44pm)
  • Wakefield Police Department located a juvenile from the Milestone Group Home that was reported missing on May 9. (8:06pm)
  • A neighbor complained of noise from kids playing hockey in the tennis courts at the North Intermediate. Kids were packing up as police arrived. (11:01pm)
