5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (May 20, 2016)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Friday, May 20, 2016.

#1) Wilmington High School’s Lamplighters Drama Guild presents CATS on Thursday, May 19, Friday, May 20, and Saturday, May 21 at 7pm. This musical, composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, will be performed in the Wilmington High School Auditorium (159 Church Street). Tickets cost $15 for adults and $12 for students, seniors (65 & older), and children (under 10). #2) There are several WHS varsity sports teams in action today:

  • WHS Boys Tennis @ Ipswich — 3:30pm — Ipswich High School
  • WHS Baseball vs. Burlington — 3:45pm — Wilmington High School
  • WHS Boys Lacrosse @ Burlington — 5pm — Burlington High School
  • WHS Girls Lacrosse vs. Burlington — 6pm — Wilmington High School (Senior Game)
  • WHS Softball vs. Burlington — 6pm — Wilmington Town Park (Route 38)

#3) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding TWO free programs — Drop-In Story Time (10am-11am) and a Grade 4-6 Book Discussion (3:45pm-4:45pm) . Learn more and, if necessary, register HERE.

#4) The Wilmington Knights of Columbus (112 Middlesex Avenue) is hosting a trivia night from 8pm to 10am in its downstairs hall.  Learn more HERE.

#5) Pacific Grove (211 Lowell Street) is hosting Karaoke from Winnell Entertainment at 8pm.

PLUS: The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its regular Friday activities — Video Exercise (10am); Special Exercise (11am); Bingo (1pm) and Cards (1pm).
