WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, May 12, 2016:
- A McDonald Road caller reported neighbors were playing loud music and screaming outside. Police responded and spoke with neighbor, who was having a fire and packing it in for the night. (12:47am)
- Police noted several chalk drawings in the high school parking lot. (1:34am)
- A 3-vehicle crash, involving a Wilmington School Bus, occurred in front of the Post Office on Church Street. No injuries reported. There were two occupants on the school bus at the time of the accident. Representative from school department responded to take photos. (8:11am)
- Alelia Whalen (26, Wilmington) was issued a summons for larceny over $250, forgery of a check, utterance of a false check, and retrieving stolen property. (10:39am)
- A party reported flowers and other gifts left on her granddaughter’s gravesite in the Wildwood Cemetery were missing. (10:53am)
- Police responded to a disturbance in Wilmington Vacuum Cleaners on Lowell Street, where a customer refused to leave and threatened violence against staff. Police was able to restore the police. (12:19pm)
- Police assessed with the Pre-Prom Mock Car Crash at the high school. (1:06pm)
- A green 2003 Dodge Ram Truck and a red 2006 Jeep Liberty were involved in a crash on Lawrence Street. No injuries reported. a RMLD light pole was struck and snapped in half. (2:14pm)
A walk-in party reported their wallet was stolen from Market Basket. (2:29pm) - A missing juvenile was reported from Milestone Group Home on High Street. (3:44pm)
- A Lawrence Street caller reported Verizon strikers were outside yelling obscenities and blocking traffic in the area. (6:13pm)
