POLICE LOG for May 11: Crime Appears To Have Taken The Day Off

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, May 11, 2016:

  • Police responded to suspicious activity between two vehicles in the Target parking lot. Situation checked OK — occupants of vehicles were just friends talking. (2:56am)
  • A green 2000 Nissan Quest and a 1994 Chevy Pickup were involved in a minor car accident at Sunrise Market on Main Street. (7:39am)
  • An anonymous caller reported there’s been an abandoned car in front of a hydrant on Argonne Road. Police responded and tracked down owner, who said vehicle will be removed within next few days. (12:16pm)
  • Police moved a vehicle along from the Town Dog Park, advising them it was not open yet. (12:21pm)
  • A caller reported a past employee of ‘Art of the Event’ on Middlesex Avenue was in the parking lot doing donuts and yelling at the owner. Individual left the area before police arrived. (12:39pm)
  • A Woburn Street resident reported his mailbox was vandalized. (5:21pm)
