WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, May 9, 2016:
- Police assisted parent in unlocking a vehicle with a 3 year-old inside in the AP Sports parking lot on Upton Drive. (10:39am)
- Police received a report of a fight in the parking lot of Cumberland Farm. Police responded. Situation clear. No criminal charges pressed. (11:43am)
- A caller reported a brown 2004 Ford Road Ranger speeding through the library parking lot, beeping at pedestrians in an attempt to get them out of the way. Police checked area and were unable to locate. (2:19pm)
- A hypodermic needle was reported on the grassy area near the Wilmington Arts Center. Police were unable to locate. (2:22pm)
- Francesco Cenca (43, Wilmington) was arrested on a warrant. (4:46pm)
- Damon Smith (45, Raynham, NH) was arrested on a warrant (larceny), operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and speeding. Police pulled Smith over on Salem Street. (5:49pm)
- A caller reported a syringe near the pond on North Washington Street. Police responded and retrieved item for destruction. (6:34pm)
- A red 2001 Jeep Wrangler was reported stolen from a Main Street location sometime after 10pm on Saturday, May 7. (7:53pm)
- Janice Donovan (58, Wilmington) was issued a summons for making false 911 calls. Donovan called police at least 5 times in a 45-minute span, either hanging up or not saying anything. (9:31pm)
- A juvenile was reported missing from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. (9:49pm)
