WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, May 8, 2016:
- A caller found a needle on the sidewalk of Middlesex Avenue. Police retrieved the item for destruction. (6:53am)
- A caller reported suspicious behavior between occupants in two silver sedans parked in the Shell Gas Station parking lot. Caller believed occupants were being “disruptive” and possibly smoking marijuana. Vehicles left prior to the police’s arrival. (8:06am)
- A Carolyn Road caller reported his vehicle was egged overnight. (9:13am)
- A caller reported items were stolen from a gravesite in the Wildwood Cemetery (Kilmarnock Street). (9:40am)
- A McDonald’s employee reported 2 unsecured small children (4-5 years old) in a Toyota Corolla. Neither had a car seat, with one in between the passenger’s legs. Police were unable to locate the vehicle. (10:34am)
- K9 Ridic assisted the Billerica Police with a search. (2:28pm)
- A street sign at Elm Street and Leslie Street was reported missing. Police notified DPW. (9:31pm)
