POLICE LOG for May 5: Verizon Picket, Motorcycle Stolen, Larceny At Target, Packages Taken From Driveway

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, May 5, 2016:

  • A caller reported a man dancing down Middlesex Avenue in his pajamas.  Caller requested a well-being check for the man. Police were unable to locate the man. (8:20am)
  • A Yama YZF-R3 motorcycle was reported stolen from Avalon Drive. (8:52am)
  • 2 juveniles were reported missing from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. (10am) 2 juveniles returned around 4:25pm.  2 juveniles were reported missing again at 5:16pm.
  • A Glen Road resident reported packages delivered yesterday were stolen from driveway and mailbox. (10:41am)
  • Management at Verizon New England on Main Street reported picketers were blocking employees for leaving parking lot. Police spoke with some of the protestors, who were aware of what they could and couldn’t do. Police spoke with Verizon management about possible need for future detail officer. (12:49pm)
  • A red 2004 Toyota Camry struck guardrail near Heavenly Donuts on Main Street. (1:52pm)
  • Gregory D. Hobbs, Jr. (31, North Andover) was issued a summons for larceny over $250 at Target on Ballardvale Street. (9:33pm)
