WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN things to do today in Wilmington on Thursday, May 12, 2016.
#1) Wilmington Public Schools is hosting its first ever Behavioral Health Provider Fair from 3pm to 8pm at Wilmington Middle School. Close to thirty local mental health providers, community organizations, municipal departments, and state agencies will be on hand to provide information and resources to attendees. #2) The Abundant Life Christian School’s Middle School Drama Club is performing ‘The Rebel Alliance’ on Thursday, May 12 at 7pm at Abundant Life (173 Church Street). Tickets cost $6 at the doors. Learn more HERE.
#3) The Wilmington Congregational Church (220 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a Blood Drive from 2pm to 7pm. Learn more HERE.
#4) State Rep. Ken Gordon, who represents Precinct 3 in Wilmington as well as all of Burlington and Bedford, has organized a forum to address the issue of available senior housing at the Burlington Council on Aging (61 Center Street) from 11am to 12:15pm. Learn more HERE.
#5) Tremezzo Ristorante (2 Lowell Street) is hosting live music with Vanessa Salvucci at 7:30pm.
#6) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding TWO free events — Read To Zoey (4pm-5pm) and After-Death Communication and Its Implications for Grief (7pm-8:45pm). Learn more and register HERE.
#7) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its normal Thursday activities — Computer Class (9:15am); Art Class (10am); Aerobics (10:30am); Knitting/Crocheting (11am); and Games Day (1pm).
