WILMINGTON, MA — The Recreation Department would like to call your attention to the following offerings – just in case you missed them!
Red Sox Tickets
We have Red Sox tickets!! Only $37 for bleacher seats (section 41) for the following Friday night (7:10 p.m.) games:
- vs. Seattle Mariners on June 17
- vs. Minnesota Twins on July 22
Shooting Stars Basketball League
The deadline for the Shooting Stars Basketball League (entering Grades 3 – 5) is approaching – Thursday, June 2. This fun six-week league provides instruction and scrimmages on summer evenings. Teams will play a staggered game schedule with games at 6, 7 or 8 p.m. Cost is $26.
Girls: Tuesdays, July 5 – August 9
Boys: Thursdays, July 7 – August 11
As with all of our leagues, we need volunteer coaches! Just sign yourself up online when you sign up your child to play!
Babysitter Training
We are offering a Babysitter Training class for students age 11 and up on Saturday, June 18 from 1 – 5 p.m. The class will be held at the Wilmington Memorial Library Conference Room. Students will learn the necessary skills to begin their babysitting career. Discuss interviewing with parents, infant and toddler care, handling bedtime issues, basic first aid and more. Course manual included. Cost is $45.
Skyhawks — Tiny Hawks & Mini Hawks
For your youngest athlete – The Skyhawks programs are from Monday – Friday, June 27 – July 1, at the Woburn Street School.Tiny Hawks (for ages 3 & 4) teaches beginning basketball and soccer skills. The program is from 8:30 – 9:15 a.m. Cost is $51. Mini Hawks program (for ages 4 – 6) includes t-ball, basketball and soccer. The program is from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Cost is $113.

Online registration links are on the upper right corner of our page, or you can register in the Recreation Office from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on weekdays. Call 978-658-4270 if you have any questions!
