WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN things to do today in Wilmington on Wednesday, May 11, 2016.
#1) The public is invited to the Abundant Life Christian School’s annual Art Show and Reception from 5pm to 7:30pm. The show features the creative artwork on the school’s elementary and middle school students. Learn more HERE.
#2a) The Wilmington School Committee meets at 7pm at the High School (Large Instruction Room). Read the agenda HERE.
#2b) The Wilmington Board of Appeals meets at 7pm at Town Hall (Room 9). The agenda will be posted HERE.
#3) Austin Prep (101 Willow Street, Reading) is hosting an Open House for families of boys and girls entering grades six through eight at 9am. Learn more HERE.

#5) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its normal Wednesday activities — SBF Exercise (9:45am); Special Exercise (11am); and Country Line Dancing (1pm).
#6) The Wilmington Police Department offers safety seat installs at the Wilmington Public Safety Building (1 Adelaide Street) every Wednesday, 10am-2pm. No appointment is necessary, but calling ahead at 978-658-5071 is recommended. Learn more HERE.
#7) The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. All books are $2 or less! Every penny of every sale benefits the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.
#8) The Town’s Yard Waste Center, located off Old Main Street on the Wilmington/Woburn line, is open from 8am to 2pm.
#9) WHS Boys Tennis travels to Wakefield High at 3:30pm. WHS Girls Tennis hosts Winchester at 3:30pm at Wilmington High. WHS Baseball travels to Melrose at 3:45pm at Morelli Field. WHS Softball travels to Melrose at 3:45pm at Pine Banks Park.
#10) The Wilmington Boosters Association is holding its monthly meeting at 7pm in the Wilmington High Cafeteria.
