WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, May 3, 2016:
- Police came across a man loitering on the St. Dorothy’s Church property. Police sent him on his way. Police conducted a walk through and nothing appeared out of place. (2:02am)
- A blue 2014 Ford Escape and a gray 2015 Honda Fit were involved in a crash on Concord Street. No injuries reported. One vehicle towed. (11:56am)
- Police spoke with men from Koster Renovation who were told to stop roadwork on West Street until a detail was present. (12:37pm)
- A walk-in party reported she lost her wallet in the area of the Richmond Street bridge. She later recovered the wallet, but her license and credit cards were taken. Police advised her to contact her credit card companies. (1:30pm)
- An individual brought in an assortment of ammo that belonged to his grandfather for destruction. (2:19pm)
- Police advised drivers of ATVs on Beech Street to stay off public ways. (4:37pm)
- Police received report of a white man, in his 20’s, wearing a dark hoodie, going door to door on Woburn Street, claiming to be out of gas. Police responded and sent many on his way. (11:00pm)
