WILMINGTON, MA —The WHS Girls Varsity Tennis Team (3-6) was defeated by Reading, 5-0, at Reading High School on Friday afternoon.
- Wilmington freshman Emily Hill fell to Jacquelyn Iannuzzo, 6-2, 6-0.
- Wilmington junior Sam Maragioglio fell to Callan Hand, 6-1, 6-2
- Wilmington senior Jess Nussbaum fell to Natalie MacDonald, 6-4, 6-0.
- Wilmington juniors Christina Woods and Lou Schramm fell to Ellie Wilson & Ruthie Wilson, 6-0, 6-0.
- Wilmington freshman Lia Kourkoutas and sophomore Krista Brown fell to Ainsley Cohen and Mari Verrier, 6-1, 6-1.
NEXT UP: The WHS Girls Tennis Team (3-6) take on Melrose on Monday, May 9 at 3:30pm at Wilmington High.
