POLICE LOG for April 30: Ducklings Saved; Suspicious Men Wearing Ski Masks; Another Egging

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, April 30, 2016:

  • Tyler Burke (21, North Reading) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration. Burke was pulled over on Middlesex Avenue, in front of the Registry of Motor Vehicles. (2:57am)
  • An Andover Street resident reported someone egged his car overnight. (8:35am)
  • Police received a report of a past small hit & run on the Shriners Parking Lot on Fordham Road. A vehicle received a dented bumper. (12:43pm)
  • A witness reported a road rage incident on Richmond Street, with a blue minivan getting rear-ended by a gold Subaru. Both vehicles left toward Billerica. Police were unable to locate. (2:26pm)
  • A Dell Drive caller reported a dirt bike in conservation land behind his property. Police were unable to locate. (3:18pm)
  • A caller reported ducklings were stuck in a drain on Industrial Way. Animal Control Officer and DPW responded. Ducks were rescued. (2:23pm) More info HERE.
  • Police Chief requested check of high school fields after seeing juveniles climbing fences. Officers advised youths not to climb fences. (4:43pm)
  • A red 2015 Nissan Leaf and a gray 2007 Honda Pilot were involved in a crash on Woburn Street. No injuries reported. Both vehicles towed. Damage caused at entrance of Analog Devices, including to a stop sign, grass and mulch. (4:55pm)
  • A caller reported individuals were existing an SUV wearing ski masks and running down Albany Street. Police were unable to locate the parties. (8:30pm)
