POLICE LOG for April 26: Possible Panhandler Near Plaza; Car vs. Moped; Dog Struck By Car

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, April 26, 2016:

  • Police received report of a woman asking for money for people at Rite Aid on Main Street and in the roadway. Police responded. Woman got back on a bus to Lowell. (8:48am)
  • DPW requested an officer to take a report regarding illegal dumping at Town Park after a pile of tiny siding was found. (8:54am)
  • An Enterprise employee reported a rear license plate was missing from a rental car that was returned on April 23. (2:00pm)
  • A vehicle and a moped were involved in a minor accident on Lowell Street. Moped driver was cited for operating a moped without a license. (4:14pm)
  • A dog was struck by a vehicle on Route 125.  Animal Control Officer contacted dog’s owner. Dog suffered only minor injuries. (6:44pm)
  • Keooudone Savanhmixay (46, Lowell) was issued as summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. (6:50pm)
