POLICE LOG for April 23: Car Fire; OUI Arrest After 3-Car Crash

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, April 23, 2016:

  • Michael Ubilez (40, Lowell) was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense) and no inspection/sticker. Ubilez was pulled over at Main Street and Grove Avenue. (1:46am)
  • More than a dozen burn permits were issued to residents throughout the morning.
  • A resident found a license plate in the roadway of Glen Road. Police retrieved and notified Lawrence Police Department to contact owner and have him retrieve at the Wilmington Public Safety Building. (4:09pm)
  • A gray 2011 Hyundai Tucson and green 2005 Toyota Highlander were involved in a minor crash at Ballardvale Street and Avalon Drive. No injuries noted. (6:17pm)
  • A gray 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix and a motorcycle were involved in a crash at Main Street and Cross Street. There were unspecified injuries. (8:00pm)
  • Rose Manni (61, Burlington) was arrested for an OUI (Liquor) and negligent operation of motor vehicle. Manni was involved in a three car accident, with injuries, at Route 62 and High Street. (8:17pm)
  • Fire Department responded to a car fire on 93 South, near Exit 41. (8:20pm)
