POLICE LOG for April 17: Car Pulling Rollerbladers; ATVs Causing Trouble

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, April 17, 2016:

  • Police issued a citation to the driver of a black 1996 Chevrolet 1966 for a missing front license plate and a warning for missing license plate lights. (2:56am)
  • A deceased cat was located at Hopkins Street and Leonard Lane. (2:15pm)
  • An officer on a detail at the Shriners Auditorium reported a vehicle was a victim of a hit and run with a damage to the left front bumper. (3:24pm)
  • Police received complaint of ATV’s riding in the area of Aldrich Road towards the town’s water supply area. Police were unable to locate. (5:10pm)
  • A Grove Avenue caller reported a man across the street was blaring music from his vehicle and yelling obsentities. Police responded and advised the man. (3:44pm)
  • Driver of a black 2003 Chevy Impala struck a guide wire and terminal to a Verizon pole Allen Park Drive. (6:12pm)
  • Police stopped a gray 2001 Honda Accord on Industrial Way for pulling passengers around a parking lot on their rollerblades. Police advised the driver and sent the individuals on their way. (8:30pm)
  • A Taft Road caller reported her husky got loose. Owner stated dog looks like a wolf. (11:12pm)
