WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, April 16, 2016:
- A caller reported a white female in her late 50’s, wearing a black & white jacket, gray hoodie underneath, black pants and slippers, is going cup to people and asking for money outside of TJ Maxx. Police spoke with the woman. Woman said he’d wait for LTRA bus to go back to Lowell. (10:34am)
- A black 2015 Nissan Sentra and blue 2012 Ford Focus were involved in a crash on Main Street. No injuries noted. (11:25am)
- North Reading Police received a call that 2 children (possibly 6 or 7 years old) were walking alone on Concord Street, now possibly in the Dunkin Donuts. Police responded. Children were picked up by a parent. (6:08pm)
- A Park Street resident reported a package was taken from their front steps. (6:39pm)
- A missing juvenile was reported from Milestone Group Home on High Street. (10:34pm)
- A Faulkner Avenue resident complained of excessive noise and bonfire at neighbor’s home. Police responded to 10-15 people, but no music. Police advised group about possible fine for bonfire. (11:04pm)
- A police officer walked through the woods behind Town Hall to investigate a light he saw. Officer came across two men in the woods and sent them on their way. (11:36pm)
