PHOTO OF THE DAY: Wilmington 4-H Science Pirates Excel At State Competition

WILMINGTON, MA — Several members of the 4-H Science Pirates, a general science club in Wilmington, won ribbons at the state’s 4-H’s Visual Presentation competition.

Congratulations to Julia Kane, Priscilla Vo, Andrew Peters, and Sam Juergens!

These four Wilmington youths were awarded first place ribbons in Visual Presentation first at the county level, then won again at the state level.

A “visual presentation” is an oral report, complete with posters and props. Such presentations held club members build confidence in themselves and prepare them for public speaking in school, college and beyond.
