Adult Programs:
Tackling Tough Interview Questions *RR
Monday, April 25, 10 am
Answering questions during job interviews can be the most challenging part of finding that next great opportunity. Questions can vary by company, although there are common themes. Cheryl Landes, founder of Tabby Cat Communications, will bring a set of questions that are often asked during interviews; the group will talk about the best way to answer them and discuss information from HR experts on strategies.
Concert: Quintessential Brass *RR
Thursday, April 28, 7 pm
Founded in 1990, Quintessential Brass performs a majestic brass repertoire of jazz and pop. The group consists of 2 trumpets, French horn, trombone and bass trombone or tuba. The group has performed all over New England as well as the Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Center, and on NPR. They are well renowned for their polished, professional take on modern and traditional songs. This concert is supported in part by a grant from Wilmington Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

Welcome to Wilmington Reception
Monday, May 2, 6:30 pm -7:30 pm Open Drop In
Are you new to Wilmington or have you lived here for a while and wish to know more about the community? Then please come to the Welcome to Wilmington Reception. This is your chance learn about local organizations and services and to meet others from the community. There will be community group representatives on hand to welcome you and answer questions. Refreshments will be served. This program is in collaboration with the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce
Adult Coloring Group

Join in on the latest craze with our Adult Coloring Group. The group meets the first Monday of the month. No need to register, just drop in. Bring your own coloring books and pencils, or use ours.
Cookin’ the Books Evening Event *RR

Featured Cookbook: The Broad Fork by Hugh Acheson
This special evening meeting of Cookin’ the Books features The Broad Fork, a seasonal cookbook of 200 recipes designed to make the most of your farmers’ market bounty, your CSA box, or your grocery produce aisle. Please stop by the library to pick up a copy of The Broad Fork (or find a recipe from the book online), select a recipe, and then email your recipe selection to book club leader Lisa Crispin (lcrispin@mvlc.org). Bring your dish to the meeting, enjoy sampling everyone’s dishes, and enjoy the company.
Star Wars Day: May the 4th be with you! *RR
Wednesday, May 4
Calling all Star Wars enthusiasts! “May the 4th be with you” Come to the library to celebrate Star Wars Day with a trivia contest. Meet a few characters from the film and purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to take one home with you. The “characters” will be in the library starting mid-April, so stop by early to say hello.

Featured Book: Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell
A social book group geared towards readers in their 20’s and 30’s. The group meets on the first Thursday of every other month. The book discussion will be hosted by librarians from the Wilmington and Reading Public Libraries. Meeting location rotates between Wilmington and Reading. The May 5 meeting is at Golden Ginger in Wilmington.

Dads and their kids ages 2 and up are invited to drop in for stories, songs, rhymes and more. Moms, grandparents and other caregivers are welcome, too! Ages: 2-5 and one or more adults.

Wear your snuggly pajamas and bring your favorite teddy bear or blanket and enjoy stories, songs, rhymes and more! Ages: 2-5 and one or more adults.
Infant Massage *RR
Tuesday, April 26 and Tuesday May 3, 9:30 am
Learn the basic techniques of infant massage which can help your baby in areas such as fussiness, gas, and sleep. Caregiver should bring a small blanket and oil such as grapeseed oil. This class will be taught by Colleen Montemarano, PT, certified infant massage, Thom Mystic Valley Early Intervention. Ages 0-9 months.
First Look Book Group *RR

With the days getting warmer, the weather will be perfect to check out one of the library’s lawn games. We have Bocce, Croquet, Ring Toss and Horseshoes. 7-day loan period.
