WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, April 13, 2016:
- Police received a panic alarm alert from Shell Gas Station on Main Street. A white man, about 6 ft. tall, with dark facial hair, a black hoodie, and tan white jogging paints, stole 8 $20 bills, 3 $10 bills, and 5 packs of Marlboro Reds. Manager reviewed security camera footage with officers. (3:48am)
- K9 Ridic helped conduct a search of the high school. (9:21am)
- Job picketers from Verizon were in front of Verizon Wireless on Main Street. Picketers appeared to be peaceful. Police will check back throughout the day. (11:44am)
- A walk-in party reported a man in his 60’s was taking pictures of kids at a park in town. (12:00pm)
- James Wonsehleay (30, Lynn) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration and having an uninsured motor vehicle. (8:05pm)
- A caller reported his $400 iPhone was stolen out of the bathroom at McDonald’s where he accidentally left it. The phone was pinging in Lynn via the ‘Find My iPhone’ app. Wilmington Police contacted Lynn Police, who went to the address and was able to retrieve the phone. (8:50pm)
