POLICE LOG for April 12: Dunkin’ Donuts Robbed; Boys Throwing Rocks At Cars?

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, April 12, 2016:

  • A Salem Street resident reported 2 males on his property who stated they are working for the railroad. When he asked why he was not notified, they left his yard. Police confirmed with Keolis (railroad contractor) that employees would be working in area. Police notified resident, who was satisfied. (8:22am)
  • A Stonehenge Drive caller reported a trash truck struck his landscape trailer and continued driving. Police confirmed damage to trailer. Police located trash truck, but operator denied hitting trailer. Police see no visible damage to trash truck. No witnesses to incident. (9:03am)
  • A caller reported their son’s wallet is missing, possibly taken from gym bag while at a track meet at Wilmington High. (11:30am)
  • A caller reported a telephone pole was leaning on Cheyenne Drive and Concord Street. Police notified RMLD. (12:58pm)
  • Police received report of larceny of real estate signs on Jospin Road. (4:07pm)
  • A caller reported 3 middle school-aged boys appearing to throw rocks at passing vehicles on Glen Road. Police responded and spoke with some kids and their parents, who denied any wrongdoing. (4:34pm)
  • Police received a panic alarm called in by Alarm Computer Technology for Dunkin’ Donuts at 321 Main Street.  Police then received a 911 call from Dunkin’ Donuts reporting they were robbed by a white male, 20-26 year-olds, 6 ft. tall, with facial hair, wearing a red and black hooded sweatshirt with a solid red hood and blue jeans. Man got into a black or dark blue 4-door sedan parked in the Wilmington House of Pizza’s lot.  First digit on the license plate was 7. Vehicle left southbound on Main Street. (11:09pm)
