WILMINGTON, MA — Below is a list of FREE upcoming programs for adults, teens and kids at the Wilmington Memorial Library.

Registration begins 30 days prior to the event. Please register online using our Calendar of Events at http://www.wilmlibrary.org or by calling (978) 694-2099 (for Adult) or (978) 694-2098 (for Children/Teen). Movie Night
Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens (PG-13) *RR

Calling all Star Wars fans young and old! The feature movie this month is the new  Star Wars movie.

Classic Songs from Yesteryear *RR
April 21, 2:30 pm
Howie Newman performs songs from yesteryear, including standards, show tunes and material from artists like Frank Sinatra, the Beatles, Dean Martin, Elvis Presley, Neil Diamond and many others. It’s a sing-along, toe-tapping musical journey from the early 1900s up through the 1960s.

Join us for a discussion of Camp Babymouse by Jennifer L. Holm. One lucky attendee with receive a copy of the newest Babymouse book, Babymouse Goes for the Gold! Grades 1-3.

SAT Practice Test *RR
Tuesday, April 19, 1– 5:30 pm
Practice the new SAT for free! Organized through the Princeton Review, students take the entire 3 hour and 50 minute test allowing an extra 25 minutes for breaks, and then receive their scores via email.  Grades 11-12

Teen Job Fair
Wednesday, April 20, 1:30 – 4:30 pm
Learn about job and volunteer job opportunities for teens at the WML’s 2nd Annual Teen Job Fair! Meet representatives from community businesses and organizations and pick up applications. Ages 14+

Mr. Vinny Shadow Puppets *RR
Wednesday, April 20, 6:30 pm
Join us for the hilarious and high energy shadow puppet show performed by Mr. Vinny, a member of the famous Toe Jam Puppet Band! Ages 3+

Crafternoons: Pusheen Plush *RR

Love Pusheen the Cat? Make one of your own with just a sock, felt and a bit of sewing. (No experience necessary.)  Grades 4-8.

Comics Workshop! *RR
Thursday, April 21, 10 am – 1pm
Learn all the basics of creating and self-publishing mini comics that feature your own original characters and stories! This workshop is led by New Hampshire based cartoonist Marek Bennett. Grades 4-8.
