5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (April 17, 2016)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Sunday, April 17, 2016.

#1) The Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) is hosting Rich Altman’s Sports Card & Memorabilia Boston Show from 10am to 4pm.  New England Patriots James White and Chris Hogan will be present. Learn more HERE.

#2) We’re One Wilmington is holding their ‘Anything Drive’ from 9am to 2pm at Villanova Hall (125 Middlesex Avenue). Bring down your gently used clothing and household goods. Items collected will be distributed to Wilmington non-profit organizations, families and individuals in need.

#3) The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm.  Learn about the canal’s history and its impact on the area, including Wilmington.

#4) REMINDER: The State Police will be holding a sobriety checkpoint somewhere in or around Wilmington (Middlesex County) Saturday night into Sunday morning. Learn more HERE.

#5) Today is the first ever ‘First Responder Day’ in Massachusetts.  The bill was proposed by Wilmington’s State Rep. Jim Miceli and recently signed into law by Governor Baker. Learn more HERE.
