10 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (April 16, 2016)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN things to do today in Wilmington on Saturday, April 16, 2016.

#1) The Wilmington Little League is holding its Opening Day Parade and Ceremonies today. The parade begins at 9:30am from the Fourth of July Building parking lot.  Good luck to all the players! Learn more HERE.

#2) Wilmington Youth Soccer’s Spring Season begins today.  Good luck to all players!

#3) The Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) is hosting Rich Altman’s Sports Card & Memorabilia Boston Show on Saturday, April 16 (9am to 5pm), and Sunday, April 17 (10am-4pm).  Hanley Ramirez, Koji Uehara, Brock Holt, Christian Vasquez, and Travis Shaw will present in the morning. Learn more HERE.

#4) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a reception from 11am to noon for the preschool students and daycare students who displayed their artwork in the library this week.  Learn more HERE.

#5) The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. All books are $2 or less!  Every penny of every sale benefits the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.

#6) The Wilmington Food Pantry (142 Chestnut Street) is open from 10am to noon for food donation drop-offs. Learn which food items the Pantry is most in need of HERE.

#7) The Town’s Yardwaste Center, located off Old Main Street at the Wilmington/Woburn line, is open for leaf and brush drop-off from 9am to 4pm. Learn more HERE.

#9) WHS Softball battles Winchester at 10am at Westside Field in Winchester.
