WILMINGTON, MA — The WHS Girls Varsity Tennis Team defeated Melrose in their second match of the season on Wednesday, April 13 at Lyons Court in Melrose.
- Emily Hill defeated Jackie Pereira, 6-7, 6-4, 8-6.
- Sam Maragioglio defeated Lib Fitzgerald, 6-4, 6-2.
- Jess Nussbaum fell to Julia McLaughlin, 6-2, 6-2.
- Christina Woods & Lou Scramm fell to Hannah Butler & Olivia Zabtis, 7-5, 4-6, 6-2.
- Vanessa D’Angelo & Mary Lesperance defeated Kira Delucia & Alex Venuti, 6-1, 6-3.
NEXT UP: The WHS Girls Tennis Team (1-1) take on Lexington on Thursday, April 14 at 3:30pm at Wilmington High.
