WILMINGTON, MA — The WHS Girls Varsity Tennis Team was defeated by Belmont in their season opener on Monday, April 11 at Wilmington High.
- Emily Hill fell to Amanda Jung, 6-2 and 6-0.
- Sam Maragioglio fell to Rosy Kova, 6-1 and 7-5.
- Jess Nussbaum fell to Hannah Read, 6-2 and 6-2.
- Christina Woods & Lou Scramm fell to Sara Paollilo & Julia Logan, 4-6, 6-2, and 6-3.
- Christina Wright & Lauren Field fell to Lena Jiang & Kiara Holm, 6-0 and 6-0.
NEXT UP: The WHS Girls Tennis Team (0-1) take on Woburn on Tuesday, April 12 at 3:30pm at Wilmington High.
