WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, April 5, 2016:
- A gray 2001 Toyota Corolla and a white 2015 Ford F150 were involved in a crash at Frito Lay on Ballardvale Street. No injuries reported. One vehicle was towed. (8:55am)
- A Kenwood Avenue resident reported he heard banging under his deck and saw some footprints in the snow. Police responded. It appeared the noise was from snow falling off the roof and hitting the desk. Footprints in the snow were actually from a dog. (1:06pm)
- Police issued a written warning to driver of an overweight truck who drove on Butters Row bridge. (2:06pm)
- A Shawsheen Avenue caller reported she found a knife at the end of her driveway. An officer responded and found a rusted drywall knife. Officer disposed of. (5:01pm)
- A Park Street resident reported that a suspicious man has been taking photos of his property. When he confronted him, the man quickly left. (5:54pm)
- K9 Ridic assisted Woburn Police with a drug search on Harrison Avenue. (6:41pm)
- McDonald’s employee reported several vehicles in the parking lot were revving their engines and causing a disturbance. Police located all three vehicles and advised occupants not to return to McDonald’s. (10:11pm)
