WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Saturday, April 9, 2016.
#1) The Wilmington Middle School Drama Club presents its final production of “Willy Wonka” at 1pm in the Wilmington Middle School Auditorium. Tickets costs $10 for adults and $7 for students. Tickets will be sold at the doors.
#2) The Boston Derby Dames, a Boston-based, female-only roller derby league, begins its 2016 regular season at the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) on Saturday, April 9. Doors open at 4pm. The double-header begins at 5pm. Learn more HERE.
#3) The Boston Metro Hi-Railers is holding an Open House from 10am to 4pm at its 5 Waltham Street headquarters. Admission costs $5 per person and $10 per family. Children under 10 are admitted free. Refreshments will be available. Learn more HERE.
#4) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a Greeting Cards workshop with Elaine Sousa from 1:30pm to 3pm. Cost is $5 per person. Registration is required. Learn more HERE.
#5) The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. All books are $2 or less! Every penny of every sale benefits the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.

PLUS: Free Tax Preparation is being offered to Wilmington seniors by AARP volunteers at the Reading Municipal Light Department Building (rear), 230 Ash Street, Reading on a walk-in basis, with no appointment needed, Saturday mornings from February 6 through April 9, 2016.
