WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN things to do today in Wilmington on Friday, April 8, 2016.
#1) The Wilmington Recreation Department is throwing a 50th Birthday Party for its beloved playground supervisor Bernie McNally from 6:30pm to 8pm in the Town Hall Auditorium. The public is invited to stop by, share a laugh or memory, and deliver your congratulations to an outstanding man that has touched so many. Feel free to bring Bernie a card. Learn more HERE.
#2) The Wilmington Middle School Drama Club presents “Willy Wonka” tonight at 7pm and Saturday at 1pm in the Wilmington Middle School Auditorium. Tickets costs $10 for adults and $7 for students. Tickets will be sold at the doors.
#3) The Wilmington Athletic Alumni & Friends Association still has a limited number of open tickets for their largest event and fundraiser of the year — 100 Hungry Wildcats. This 6th annual event will take place at 7pm in the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall. Learn more HERE.
#4) The Shawsheen Tech High School PAC is holding its 3rd Annual Trivia Night from 7pm to 10pm at the Billerica Elks (14 Webb Brook Road). Tickets to the “Stump Trivia Night” cost $20 for adults and $10 for students. Learn more HERE.
#5) Abundant Life Christian School’s 17th annual Pasta Dinner and Silent Auction will be held at 5pm. Learn more HERE.
#6) The Aleppo Shriners are holding “A Night of Hysterical Comedy: A Fundraising Benefit for the Aleppo Shriners Cycle Unit” at 7:30pm in the Shriner Auditorium’s FEZ Room. Doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets to this “Boston’s Best Headliners” show cost $25. Learn more HERE.
