Dear Editor,
Having done my research on the backgrounds of each of the candidates for Selectman, reviewed the published answers to questions and watched the debates on WCTV, I have narrowed my choice to one candidate for Selectman. As a resident of 40 years and following the issues the town has faced, I believe it is advantageous to the town to have an accomplished attorney as a member of the Board of Selectmen. Attorney Joseph Lavino presents an intriguing background of performing a thorough investigation of all issues before him, providing a basis for sound decision-making. Rather than “go along to get along”, this refreshing approach to addressing the town’s future issues is worthy of consideration by every town resident using good thinking. Therefore, I am endorsing Attorney Joseph Lavino to become a member of the Wilmington Board of Selectmen.
