WANTED: Fugitive Dumped Stolen Car In Wilmington

TEWKSBURY, MA — On Thursday, March 30, 2016 the Tewksbury Police Department responded to the Dress Barn located at 10 Main Street for a report that a female had been robbed as she left work. As the victim approached her vehicle, she was grabbed and had her purse taken as well as her vehicle. The vehicle was recovered in Wilmington with no sign of the suspect. The victim was not physically harmed.

Detectives were able to obtain an identification of the suspect through surveillance video and from a previous drug arrest on March 29th (possession with intent to distribute heroin at Wal-Mart). Michael Munroe, 32, of 24 Epping Street, Apt. #2, Raymond N.H is wanted for carjacking, robbery and larceny over $250.

Munroe is a person of interest in an attempted carjacking in Reading on March 31st.

Munroe may be in the company of Rebecca Norton (29 year-old of 82a Prescott Rd Raymond, NH) who has two outstanding warrants for her arrest (Methuen PD Possession of Class A (default) and a Parole Violation out of Raymond NH).

If anyone has any information as to the whereabouts of Munroe or Norton, please call Tewksbury Police or dial 911.
